NuGOweek 2014

This year's theme is 'Nutrigenomics of Foods' with the following sessions planned:
Mediterranean versus Nordic diets, Systems biology of foods, Food-gut microbiota interactions, Food and the human variome, Nutrition research infrastructures, Next generation nutrigenomics scientists, Personalised food and Personalised health.

The post-graduate course "Nutrigenomics studies in humans: from epidemiology to intervention" will take place on Monday 8th September (two sessions) and Tuesday 9th September (afternoon only).

Satellite meetings include:

  • NutriTECH (Monday and Tuesday), EuroDISH-WP8 (Tuesday),
  • QuaLiFY (Wednesday) and Food4Me (Thursday and Friday).
  • The NuGO Participants Assembly will be on Thursday, 11th September 2014.

Venue: The Vesuvian Institute, Castellammare di Stabia (IT)

Travel: from Naples, it is approximately 60 minutes by public transport or 30 minutes by taxi, and from Rome approximately three hours by train

Cost : accommodation bed & breakfast 45Euro per night - we will try to keep the conference fee as low as possible for NuGO members - details will follow in April 2014

NuGO is an Association of Universities and Research Institutes focusing on jointly developing the existing research area of
nutrigenomics and nutritional systems biology. NuGOweek highlights recent advances in the field of nutrigenomics and
integrates genomic technologies for the benefit of nutritional science. Ten previous meetings branded its unique character
(www.nugo.org ).
